She's got hops. She's got power. She's got a deadly serve that crushes her opponents. Wonder Woman on the court and a cheerleader on the sideline, Kate is a stellar asset to Can You Dig It.

A highly active and fun showdown ended in a Sportland 2 to 1 victory against Can You Dig It. Katie's raw flair shined bright earning her POTW. Blocker, stopper, server, hitter, digger, she was unbeatable. Tuck and rolls, dive and goes, she took her flexibility and vertical movements to another level.

When Jeff Buckingham is at net for Can You Dig It (or any other time for that matter), you'd better have good offensive strategy because Jeff is a wall of steel. He got his groove on in the first playoff match vs. Volley Lamas and got a feel for positioning to be able to deny the opponent's attempts to get the ball across. With solid backup from his teammates in middle and back court, Jeff led the squad to victory and to advance up the bracket to play Net Ninjas. That match was a thriller too. Can You Dig It found themselves one game down in the first set, but Jeff had other intentions and energized the team to an exciting finish at 28-26 in the second game. With momentum going, CYDI worked their best magic led by Jeff's incredible blocking and assists, but ultimately dropped the last set to the Ninjas. The Ninjas and CYDI celebrated a well-fought match at Ex Novo afterwards, with toasts all around to Jeff Buckingham for a great night of volleyball!
