Winter Co-ed Volleyball at Blazers Boys & Girls Club Mondays

Marie was this weeks Player of the Week for one of the best reasons, FUN! She set a very good example of exactly what we are all about here at Underdog. There was one point during the night that she joked with me after barely losing a set that it wasn't too bad for a bunch of strangers that just met! She just has one of those kinds of spirits, really enjoyed meeting new friends on her team and having a blast with them on the court. Great way to start the season for her and her new team, keep it up Marie and keep bringing back that upbeat spirit!

Scotty was the man! Heavy hitter from everywhere on the court but also a great teammate trying to set up others on his team. His best attribute though was his serving, it is quite possibly what led his team to a win. Scotty was serving up many different types of serves from curvy, fast, and even slow to get many aces! While Scotty is busy being an Ace, he's also a great sportsman and really is just there for the fun. Keep it up Scotty and good luck the rest of the way!

What a hitter! She's getting kills all over the court and sharing it with her teammates as well. Not to mention it was like a block party/ competition in the second set! She would block an attempted kill from the opposing team then vise versa against her. Pretty cool to watch it all unfold! Keep it up Shelley and good luck the rest of the season!
