Winter Co-ed Volleyball at Blazers Boys & Girls Club Wednesdays

This weeks player of the week is Rachel, not only for her awesome volleyball skills but because she came and celebrated her birthday with Underdog on opening night of Winter season! It was a special day for Rachel and she made it even better with her diving efforts and great serves all night long. Great work Rachel!

Tara was on Fire at the net tonight. When she was in the front row the other team was in a world of hurt trying to get it past her. She was ready for the block when ever it came her way. She had a few great hits right back to them. She was consistent from the serving line and was ready to take home the W tonight. Great work Tara and all of Mo' Points!

Mike Ingraham of All About That Ace is all about his volleyball. He tore up the floor in Wednesday's Midcore match vs. Ridigulous at the Boys & Girls Club and in the process wowed us with his magical moves. In an intense three games, Mike and his squad went head to head with Ridigulous in some really exciting and long volleys, often kept in play by Mike's incredible sportsmanship. He kept his high pace going throughout the evening with an unmatched digging style and full body sacrificing. Keeping the "Ace" of his team name as a motto, Mike scored quite a few of those over the night. All About the Ace kept Ridigulous on their toes by fighting to point spreads of less than 5 per game and sets 1 and 3 went into extra points, with Ridigulous taking them 27-25. But not without a battle led by the fearless Mike Ingraham, who easily deserves POTW!
