The indoor volleyball season ended with a bang on Wednesday or should I say many of them. The sound of volleyballs being smashed echoed through out the whole gym.
Doing much of the smashing was Amanda Muckeider and Paul Schwarz, teammates on League Champions On Your Knees. Precison Passing by Renee Bacastow led to many kill opportunities which led to multiple points and an eventually a championship. Jessica and Matt Gibbs along with the rest of the Court Jesters played great defense and had some quality runs on the service line. They made sure the final match was no laughing matter.
In the other divison Big Balls showedwho was boss, defeating to very tough teams in Setsual healing and Spyk. The key difference was the right arm of Karen Gorretta. Multiple times Karen ran of multiple points from the service line. The serves that were returned were usually run down by Paul Johnson and the rest of his teammates.
All the games were very close, many of the points were long and fiercely contested, it was definitely some hot action in a hot gym.
