Spring Softcore Co-ed Volleyball at Fernwood/Beverly Cleary Wednesdays

Rachel was playing her usual game, great passing/setting, hustling and diving all over the court. Though the Brawlers would lose, they were putting up a fight, talking and playing good team ball. After their match Rachel filled in for the Indy team, playing the same tune.

It was a nice rally match, Bigg Balls were down, but would still fight. Safe sets would would take all three in the match, thanks to nice team play. Nicole was hitting, setting, diving all around the court. She even tried hitting the ball from the ground(!).
And she played another match, bringing her A game. POTG & POTW, nice work

Gravy Diggers vs (their rivals) Spyke, was fun from the get. Though they didn't win a game they battled, rallied and smiled. TJ was hustling, jumping and talking throughout the match. Playing big at the net with hits and multiple blocks.
He then carried it over to the next match subbing with the volley Brawlers, adding a nice 1 handed block. Nice work, digging the shirt too.

Congratulations to our player of the week during the finals, "New" Shannon from the Court Jesters! Shannon rocked the volleyball court today. She was having a great time pumping up her team.

Shannon's signature move tonight was a one arm last ditch effort for an out of control ball that always seemed to find it's way back into play and win the point. Each time the surprise and delighted laughter would bring her team on track to boost their score.

Shannon was all over the court, diving, rolling, and setting. Congratulations to the Court Jesters on their Division 1 victory and to Shannon as our player of the week!
