Summer Softcore Kickball at Col Summers Mon/Wed

Jill pitches two games for Campbell global. It seemed that her only opponent was the wind. She did a great job being the engine of the team on the mound, making many plays in the field. Her great hustle on the basepaths lead to a home run, which at the time gave her team the lead. Keep being a leader Jill!

Ivan has showcased his all around ability on the kickball field. He makes great plays in the outfield, and even saved a run with his catch and throw in. Ivan also possesses a clutch gene, ripping a walk off kick in a huge comeback victory. Keep it up Ivan!

Lee is quite the player. He is the best defensive catcher in the league. I’m the 5th inning, he helped stop what could have been a huge inning by collecting back to back tag outs at home plate. Catcher is often an overlooked position in kickball, but the way Lee plays it, it gives his team a huge advantage. Way to go Lee!

Taking a break from the big screen to bless us with his presence, Hollywood star Simba made an exclusive public appearance at a Colonel Summers on Wednesday. When asked what brought him out to Colonel Summers of all places, Simba simply trotted about the field for a moment or two before making his way back behind the fence line to watch the rest of the game. But like the entertainer he is, Simba couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do something memorable. Although we now have one more popped kickball, we couldn’t be more appreciative of Simba taking the time to enjoy some Wednesday night kickball with the rest of us. As big of a hit his new movie “The Lion King” is, he was an even bigger one Wednesday night.

Getting the full support of team and family, Orlando was ready to play. Game 1 was filled with nice kicks and the play of the day, off the shin to 3rd.

Scoring runs, having fun and hustling, Orlando and Kicktease has a nice two games, with the second ending with a peg out. Where’s vacation? ORLANDO!
