Congrats TUSK for winning D1 championships at Gabriel Park! TUSK worked really well as a team because each of them brought a different strength to the table. Travis Hovde stood out for his killer spikes and aces. Samuel Cheek took the other team by surprise by tipping, blocking, and setting balls over the net. Katelyn Powers had a perfect serve receive. While Utahana Rosales served the ball with so much strength and precision! Together each of their individual strengths complimented each other and essentially created the dream team. They also worked
together to make sure that the court was covered with amazing communication and determination to let no ball die untouched. Their opponents in their championship game didn't let TUSK take an easy win; But it seemed like TUSK thrived under the pressure. Way to end up on the top TUSK!

Congratulations to Net-Tips and Chill for taking home to 1st place title in the Division 2 championships! Walking into championships Net-tips and Chill only had four players but they did an amazing job covering the court. There were moments in their sets where they all came together and completed a seamless three touch play. Each player on Net-Tips and Chill were constantly encouraging and cheering each other on. They celebrated every point and got excited to see their teammate Ian even start to learn some new volleyball lingo! Amazing Job Net-Tips and Chill we loved the positive and playful energy you brought to the sand courts!
