New Kids on the Block

Not only is Andrea Young an absolutely wonderful team captain, she's a necessary asset to the New Kids on the Block defense. This temperate night at Eastmoreland Sports Center, front-row hitters from the opposing team, Premarital Sets, unleashed some truly gnarly hits. While it may have taken sometime for New Kids on the Block to respond, dropping the first set, their play intensity ramped up to claim the next two. Much of the strong defensive response came from the sheer bravery, confidence, and skill, of Andrea Young. Dig after dig after dig, she helped set up the offense and solidify the win for the New Kids on the Block! Great work, everyone!

We'll talk about a good time. The Dinkheads are all about that silly stuff and Captain Jenny is there motivating, communicating, and laughing! Not only did the Dinkheads have a double header, they brought the energy and smiles to BOTH games! And what better way to have a fun time then practically make new friends from the opposing team?! The Dinkheads have played together for more than just this season and it's clear why, there is never a full moment!

Captain Jenny was there at hand, always willing to step up and keep score and communicate when balls were in or out. Great job out there Jenny and team, it's always a hoot for everyone when you're on the court!

He won against his team, and when the players on the opposing team showed up, he switched back and wound up winning with his team on three. His flexibility allowed three sets to be played, and he and his team wound up taking the W!
