Most of the Notorious DIG players now have enough wrist bands to cover their whole forearm. But they were each well deserved. Starting back to the summer, they have made their mark on Underdog volleyball as the team to beat. They had a great season but it wasn't too easy tonight.
Set Issues knows what it takes to be a champion too, so they played a tough game tonight. Set Issues pulled ahead part way through the first game. But DIG wasnt giving up easy and they didn't. Some hard hits and key placed serves pulled them back into the game and they inched one out by 2.
And DIG didn't look back after game one. They were ready for a win and they took it to Set Issues in game 2. Momentum lead them to a comfortable 11 point win.
Way to go both teams. See you in a future season!

These 8 great people came together in November for the first time and they are walking away Underdog Champs together. Only a few Indy Teams have come together to win a championship, but this team can say they are one of them.
They had to battle it out with Scared Hitless before they would make it to the championship tonight. In 3 close games, the Indy team won their bid to play Spike Club for the championship.
The championship game wasn't easy for either team, as both had their winning game face one. But one team had that little something extra to get the win. That was the Indy Team and they had Alyssa and her serving. Spike Club was having to pass rockets. It was only fitting that she got the last serve of the night.
Way to go Indy team. Hope to see you all back. I know Spike Club will be back and waiting for another round!
