Who wears a sweater to bowling? Nick Diamond. In their first season with Underdog's bowling leagues, Picture Me Bowlin' brought their game but had a tough match-up against a seasoned bowling team. Yet that didn't stop Nick and the rest of the Bowlin' crew from having a good time and promising to dress up for theme night in week #4. Let's see how that Plaid shows on them in a couple of weeks. Sure it won't flow as well as wearing a sweater to bowling though.

This weeks POTW is DEFINITELY Ronald from Ron Swanson's Mustache. His visualizing of bowling form and movement totally worked because not only did he bowl his first strike, he also TRIPLED his score from Game 1 to Game 2!! A true student of bowling technique, Ron has definitely hit his stride. Can't wait to see what he pulls off next week! Maybe a turkey? Quadrupling his score? We'll have to see!

I have never seen a bowling score this high! Dan was on FIRE tonight! Strike after strike, spare after spare, Dan bowled with all his heart and might and was richly rewarded by the bowling gods. Way to go, Dan! Your bowling prowess earned you Player of the Week.

POTW goes to Mike from Team Vandelay...we won't discuss the beer incident, but suffice it say, Mike definitely made a SPLASH at Underdog bowling Thursday night! (I'm finally dried out) He also displayed the patience of an angel and some pretty sweet bowling threads (way to think outside the box on the pirate theme, Mike!) all the while, having a blast at bowling! Way to keep the fun level high, Mike.

Vandelay Industries: Now Exporting Spirit!
What a night at Hollywood! Fourth ranked Two Fingers, One Thumb beat Pin Aisle Dysfunction BY ONE PIN! To say it was a close game is an understatement! Johnny and Craig from Two Fingers One Thumb were on fire! Getting Turkeys and Spurkeys like it's going outta style. It was too much for Malia, Amanda and the rest of the Pin Aisle Dysfunction crew and Two Fingers One Thumb went on to play Blame it on the Lane in the Finals. Dan of Blame it on the Lane was having a great game, as was "Rookie" (I don't believe she was a Rookie!) both of them helped lead their team to a victory--by only 9 pins!--and Blame it on the Lane was crowned Thursday Night Bowling Champs!

Not to be out done, Team Vandelay was a frontrunner for Spirit. They brought it every week, had rhyming cheers and a great upbeat spirit. Way to go Brad, Becky, Mike, Lisa, David and Tracey! You guys rock Spirit Champs!

POTW goes to Malia and the rest of the Pin Aisle Dysfunction crew (Aaron, Amanda, Brett, Quinn and Sadie) and their fans (Mr. Leineweber, Kevin) for keeping the Thursday night lanes rocking with such booty shaking tunes as "Too Close" (poke, poke), "Good Vibrations" (the Marky Mark version), "Mo Money Mo Problems" (college time!), Tupac and my personal favorite, the 1999 breakout song of the year, Sisqo's Thong Song (thanks Amanda for playing it for me!).
