The jams set the stage for what ended up being a glorious evening of bumpin', settin', and spikin'... And jivin' too!
In the final game of the semifinals, Notorious D.I.G. faced off against an undermanned Balls Out team. It was a back and forth game that took all three games to decide who would be moving on to the championship. With synchronized dancing that could best be categorized as wiggling (do the wiggle dance), each team (one more sober than the other) made sure fun times were priority number one.
After winning the pants off dance off/volleyball battle in game 1, it was time for the Notorious ones to face off against the #1 seeded Spike This in the grand finale. After catching their breath and adding a fresh layer of sweat absorbing material, the Notorious crew set out on a tear, entering the "Danger Zone" in full force. Taking an early lead in the first game, Notorious hit some "beautifully dirty" shots that found all the right nooks and crannies, scoring point after point after point. There was the perfect combo of dancing and diving and even some solid tips from Tip-it Timmy. Smash it Ash was on point, and Julie, Jessica, and Tony did their part to ensure the victory and coveted wristbands.
Congrats Notorious D.I.G.! Now let's see if you can bring down the house indoors next season!
