Tonights outstanding player is Brad! He played a great game with some pretty crafty plays that include pretty much doing the limbo to dodge a ball being thrown at him into third base and getting the out at first after a throw all the way across the diamond. Not only was he outstanding but a great person to be around and it's always a funny conversation with him. Keep bringing that attitude back every game Brad!

Mr. Mustachio! The player of the week goes to Scott Longmuir for his incredible handlebar mustache. Really, the pairing of the "bumble bee tuna" toga and the mustache set Scott apart from the crowd at Gabriel park on Wednesday night. Thank you for reminding us of the WWF in the early 90's as you dominated the kickball field this week.
This guy took lots of risks when running the bases and loved to slide into the base! He had a lot of great slides, and only got out once! Kevin knows what it means to sacrifice his body for the team!
If it wasn't for Tamara's energy and enthusiasm on the field, I think the rest of her team would still be looking for Phil! She helps set lineups and rotate her teammates throughout the different positions, always cheers them on from the dugout, and plays the game with a passion. Always fun when this team and player play on Wednesday!
I'm Kick James, Pitch always brings energy and fun outfits to the park and this week was no different. Kristen was sporting tons of American festive gear and had a great time dancing. Thanks for making Wednesday more fun than normal!
This guy can really play! The other team was in fear that if they kicked the ball to him, then they were out! This was the truth. He played excellent outfield and also played hard to assist the team.

I don't even know where to start with this lady! She is the most energetic fun enthusiastic person I have ever seen on the field. Not only is she in a tutu but she is covered and neon and jumping around like we're at a concert! It was awesome to have her out on the field and everyone got a kick out of her. And if that wasn't enough, her teammates call her by Trampoline! She truly had me cracking up every time she was playing. Keep doing you Kristen!

I'm Kick James, Pitch!
Superwoman was on "I'm Kick James, Pitch" tonight and she brought all sorts of good energy to the kickball field! Wearing Superman socks with little capes, Amanda was in full spirits this week cheering on her teammates, cracking jokes, and having a great time. Although she couldn't lead them to a come-from-behind victory, Amanda did just about everything else out there to help them play their best! Thanks for making this night one of the most memorable!
Barely Legal Pitches forfeited to Mayhem Allstars.

It may be playoffs and time to get serious but this girl right here is truly out here for the fun aspect of the game! Amanda is so fun and enthusiastic about that game that she is just a joy to be around. As if it doesn't get better than that, her nickname on the team is Jugs! Just a player out there trying to have some fun and be with her friends. Keep it up Amanda and we hope to see you in the next season.
Ben brought tons of great energy to the park tonight, cracking witty jokes and keeping everyone entertained. Ben and the rest of Ballrats played one heck of a game and just fell short of advancing in the playoffs. Thanks to the lighthearted fun brought by Ben, the team was able to move on and still had a great time. Thanks for making this a fun night!
Although Krista was named POTG by her team for her efforts in the semifinal I thought she deserved the honor the Player of the Week. Krista played most the game at second base and had a few chances to make a play but unfortunately was unsuccessful in the first few innings. She didn't let that faze her though at the plate as she laid down a couple picture perfect bunts that got her on base and advanced her teammates. In the later innings with her team only up a couple runs she made a great catch on a line drive hit to her that was crucial in limiting the other team's runs.
Joe is being put up for Player of the Week for contributing to his team's championship success while keeping a level head and good sportsmanship. With catcher being his main position, Joe played a key role in minimizing the effectiveness of other teams bunts by getting out from behind the plate quickly. He did this by timing when the girls would make contact with the ball nearly perfectly. During the game Joe would also keep a friendly banter going with the other team and the umpire, which is something that is always nice to see.
