Summer Co-ed Sand Volleyball at Woks Up Tuesdays

Word has it that during the months of September thru June, Mark is mild mannered "Mr. Kilmer" educating the youth of America in the maths. However, get this guy a fresh haircut and and some sand and SIDE OUT MARK is born! Fully taking advantage of his summer break, Mark was spiking, setting and serving. Have you thought about going pro, Mark?

Chad had a great match this week! He had several awesome saves, including one in the far back corner where he completely laid out and managed to hit the ball back over the net. Not only was he covering the court like crazy, but his serving was on point as well. Chad was definitely a big contributor to claiming the victory.

Ryan's game was on point this week. Not only was he blocking at the net like a pro, his eye for finding open holes on the opposite side was incredible. He scored countless points for his team by placing the ball perfectly. The opponents, Like a Racecar, ultimately won the match, but Ryan definitely won MVP for the night!

Player of the week goes to Whitney. She has been a big contributed to her team this entire season. She has a killer swing that, more often than not, results in points being scored. She can dig a ball like a pro and her sets assist all of her teammates with kills of their own.

Gravy Diggers pulled out the win in the first match of the night, but unfortunately couldn't clench the second one, ending their run in the playoffs. Great job this season ladies!
