All About Team Shirts
 

Team t-shirts have become a big part of Underdog's Kickball and Dodgeball leagues. They have an old school appeal, they're easy to modify for increased rad-ness, they help you figure out who to throw the ball at when things get crazy... and when you're playing a kid's game it's good to up the ante by collectively wearing some goofy colored shirts. Simple enough. Getting shirts to the many teams and players in their requested sizes and colors has become more complex than we could have ever imagined. We are not complaining - we love our Kickball and Dodgeball teams! We have had to apply some real system-ness to make it all happen, though. Here's how it works:
 

• Sets of Team Shirts are included in the league fee for Kickball and Dodgeball (up to 15 for Kickball, up to 10 for Dodgeball).
   
• When a Captain signs up a team, they choose 3 preferred colors and specify up to 15 shirt sizes for their team shirts.
   
• Returning teams also now have the option to "ReUse" their existing shirts and receive a discount off the league fee (if their team color is still available for a given league). Reuse makes the colored shirt system a little more green, we hope!  
  
  You can buy additional shirts to fill out your set online right here.
   
• Captains submit sizes for their players when they invite them to their team... once the invite is accepted, the player controls their own shirt size.
   
• Team shirt sets are given to each team at their first game.

What sports do I get team shirts as part of the league fee, and what sports do I need to make my own uniforms?

Underdog provides team uniform shirts for all Kickball and Dodgeball leagues.

 

Do you have different shirts for men and women?

All of our team uniform shirts are considered unisex and they are made with a 50/50 cotton/poly blend. So you order from the size set for both men and women.

 

What sizes do you offer?

Anything from small up through 3XL –

With arms down at sides, measure around the upper body, under arms and over the fullest part of the chest.

What does it mean to “Recycle Shirts?”

Recycling means you have a team set (or close to a past team set) and want to use those shirts again for the same sport (kickball or dodgeball) instead of getting a whole new set of shirts.  Recycling shirts also gets you a discount of $35 off your team fee.

 

Can I get more than 15 shirts for Kickball or 10 Shirts for Dodgeball?

Sure thing – They are an extra 5 dollars a shirt before the season starts or 8 dollars a shirt after the season starts.

 

When is the shirt deadline for getting my sizes in?

You need to have your sizes into us no less than 10 days before the start of your league. If you sign up late or within 10 days we will do our best but you may need to get some of your shirts week #2.

 

I ordered the wrong sizes? Can I exchange some?

Because players can now change/update their size through their Player Page, USL will not exchange shirts. Additional shirts must be ordered through the website.

 

Can we get our shirts early so I can customize them or print on them?

Unfortunately - no. Shirts are not available for early pick-up, but teams are welcome to customize the shirts or print on shirts between Week 1 and Week 2.

 

Can I buy a shirt even if I don’t play on a team?

Sure thing …. All the cool kids are doing it anyway. And if wearing goofy kickball or dodgeball shirts around town is cool, then consider us Miles Davis….
