I was hot, sunny and the day after Cinco de Mayo. Hangovers were everywhere. One of the biggest on this Sunday was the one Tony Smith was sporting.
An endless supply of tequila the night before did not stop Tony from pitching Sons of Pitches to two hard fought victories against two hard hitting teams. Tony was not his usual self but his effective wildness was able to keep hitters off balance, allowing his team to come from when they finally warmed up the bats.
A great day and a true Underdog performance!
