Thursday evenings out at East Moreland saw the craziest, funniest, and down right goofiest crew, come together and play their butts off all the way through the Softcore Divisional Bracket till they stood alone at the end...CHAMPS...as the screams (high pitched that drew responses from the local coyotes) and jumping commenced, this team of fun loving Underdog people who no less then 2 indoor sessions ago all signed up as independents won it all.
With the sun going down on the third set, the game was tied 19 all, they dug deep and served out the last two points in grand fashion coming away with the victory just as the sun dropped below the horizon...perfect timing, almost movie like.
Congrats to Zenith Grudge for a fun session. Lets see if you can bring that awesome skill and spirit inside for the next indoor session and make it a grand-slam year by winning both the indoor and outdoor leagues.
Player of the week goes to Reggie! He was killing it on the sand this week. By serving aces and passing perfectly, he lead his team in a 2:1 victory! He didn't do it alone though. His teammates were diving for balls left and right and racking up points. Zenith Grudge's team effort and all around attitude secured them the 'W' this week. Great job!
