The 4:00pm men's championship game at Lewis & Clark on Sunday showcased the versatile skills of players on two veteran teams eager to raise the 2015 Lombardi wristbands. This game lived up to the hype and then some, with both teams trading score for score throughout the entire game. AA's tough as nails goal line defense and past experience in close game was too much in the end for talented Trying Not To Get Fined, leading to a hard fought 36-32 win and bragging rights as the team in the world of Portland flag football.
Aaron Penn came to play and then some during the 4:00pm game against Legends of the Falls at Lewis & Clark this afternoon. In an competitive game between two veteran teams, Aaron made sure to make his backup quarterback shine today with one amazing catch after another throughout the game. His sure hands and YAC stats were just what the boys from AA needed today, leading to a 38-20 victory and perfect 3-0 record heading into the always pivotal month of October for Underdog flag football.
