In the first playoff game of the evening Sweet Sweet China and The Bon Chic Rollers made Big Turkey history with not 1 tie, but 2. They tied @ 496 in the match, then tied again in sudden death leading to a second and decisive OT. The Bon Chic Rollers fought tough, but when the pins hit the ground it was Sweet Sweet China advancing to the championship match behind four spares, a strike and a nine in the second OT.
In the championship Sweet Sweet China faced a Sucmabowls team that uses cheering as an intimidation factor. After dispatching of their 1st round opponents Minds in the Gutter 578-525, Sucmabowls look Sweet Sweet China in the eye and said, "It's on."
Although not as dramatic as the opening games of the night, the Championship match had everything you'd look for. Solid bowling, some skillfull trash talk, and a new Thursday Big Turkey Champion by a score of 588-456 - Sweet Sweet China.

For leading his team into the finals, and having the best t-shirts around, Ben is this week's POTW. If you read the champ story you know that Ben's team Sweet Sweet China had to fight tooth and nail to get into the final game. And in that double OT victory Ben anchored his team with two spares, the first re-tied the match forcing the 2nd OT, and his second spare sealed the deal. Congrats Ben, thanks for the great shirts, disgusting team name stories, and leading your team to the Championship.

When the Big Turkey was young his grandpa used to tell a joke that simply went: How long is Chinese? But more on that in a minute.
Congrats Amy, for reaching the pinnacle of Big Turkey Bowling - POTW! Way to go. Amy rolled not one but 2 amazing games this week leading her team to a 4pt sweep of their opponents. Her 173 in the second game was a personal best!
So how long is Chinese? Yes! 'How Long' is indeed from China. And to you Big Turkey fans, I leave you with this riddle. How Sweet is China?
