If it wasn't for a few no-shows, the Ninjas might be headed to the semis right now. But alas, they were a few ladies short ladies short of legality and they played a game just for kicks. Get it? They didn't let that get them down though, keeping a positive attitude throughout and scoring the most "spirit runs" of any team. Way to have fun in the face of adversity Ninjas. Have a great offseason!
There were some amazing plays this week at Lillis Albina Park, but none more so than the catch Chris made in center field. Chris was lined up more toward left field to back up his teammate who had a busy day out there. When the next kicker sent a boomer to deep center, Chris took off on a soggy field, laid himself out in mid-air, and made the impressive catch.
