Final Wednesday, at Gabriel Park, Vol-E-acious would face No Big Deal for the championship and bragging rights. Game 1 started fast for Vol-E going up 8 points, but NBD would rally and force VolE to score 23 to win. Game 2 would favor NBD from the start, learning from game 1, they won 21-15. Game 3.... Another well played game, Leisa and Maddie diving and diggin balls, Brian spiking/blocking and Ben getting balls up and sending back hard! It was a battle by both sides, with numerous vollies and great plays.
Vol-E-acious had their full team and played like they didin't skip a beat. Congrats to a great Match and season
Leisa was dynamic, hustling and covering "sand" all match. Vol-E-acious was back in full force,(Maddie,Venus,Brian and Ben) were all on the same page, backing each other up and calling balls. The Captain was diving, hitting, talking and most important leading by example. Great match Leisa
Vol-e-acious would start of the night against Indy#1, a game filled with rallies and good volleyball. They would win in two games, thanks to Ben stepping up vocally and physically. Match two wsa against Damage INC and the same would remain. Ben's hustle was recipicated by everyone else and again would win in two. Great TEAM playing Vol-e-acious, and way to have fun!
Vol-E-aciuos started the double header night against Damage and they did just that. Everyone was on their game, but Maddie was really on. Calling the ball, kills from bumps & spikes, and diving where she needed to keep the ball in play. Adding a few 1 arm bumps to save vollies and set her teamates up for hits. 2nd match vs. Some spike it Hot, was a great team effert, but wasn't enough in the end. Great hustling y'all
Maddie found her and her team Vol-E-acious down 1-0 after game one but didn't let that deter her from victory. Her serves rocketed her team to victory and lands her POTW honors.
