Sticking to it
Sticking to it
Maddie found her and her team Vol-E-acious down 1-0 after game one but didn't let that deter her from victory. Her serves rocketed her team to victory and lands her POTW honors.

Hit the Sand
Just a little blood
Game 1 of 3 went well for Damage, but not without taking a little of "their own". Hustling and laying out for the ball, Stephanie Kosydav , cut her knee, but that didn't stop her. All she needs is a towlette, 2 band-aids and a volleyball...game on. Getting right back into action for her team. Though they would lose the set, to Indy 2, she gained respect.

Kick a little Sand
Kick a little Sand
Makin'em work for it
Indy 1 vs. Vol-E-acious was a battle from the begining. Lead changes, bump saves, sets, miss hits and great hits. Andrew stepped his game up from the beginning diving and saving balls, along with spikin'em jumping and standing on the ground. What really got it was his serves to push ahead the 2nd game, with the support and great play from ALL the others on the team. It was a good TEAM battle by BOTH sides. Well played y'all!

Lettin it all out (burpin and playing) good stuff
Vol-E-aciuos started the double header night against Damage and they did just that. Everyone was on their game, but Maddie was really on. Calling the ball, kills from bumps & spikes, and diving where she needed to keep the ball in play. Adding a few 1 arm bumps to save vollies and set her teamates up for hits. 2nd match vs. Some spike it Hot, was a great team effert, but wasn't enough in the end. Great hustling y'all

Keep Playin'
Although, Some spike it Hot lost the match, they played well and pulled out 1 game. There were a lot of rallies for points throught the match, and Katie's three digs in row(1 from the sand) to set up Brian for the kill, to win the point was the highlight of'em all. It didn't stop there. Her serving was on, attitude positive and she was hitting balls for kills. Well played Katie and the rest of Spike it hot AND Spike Club ll.

The Cart- Wheel Man
The Cart- Wheel Man
Even though the weather was 90 this guy didn't bat an eyelash. The heat was like Gatorade and this dude wanted to "Get SOME".

Trevor showed up on a hot day ready to play some serious volleyball. He cheered his team ON when they were up. He cheered his team UP when they were down.

Trevor Cart-Wheeled onto the court to get down to business. The spirit must of rubbed off onto some of his teammates because pretty soon after others were flipping onto to the court.

He jumped on every pass like a Kangaroo and served every ball like an Champ. Sweet moves..... Player of the week!!

Vol-e-acious would start of the night against Indy#1, a game filled with rallies and good volleyball. They would win in two games, thanks to Ben stepping up vocally and physically. Match two wsa against Damage INC and the same would remain. Ben's hustle was recipicated by everyone else and again would win in two. Great TEAM playing Vol-e-acious, and way to have fun!

Leisa was dynamic, hustling and covering "sand" all match. Vol-E-acious was back in full force,(Maddie,Venus,Brian and Ben) were all on the same page, backing each other up and calling balls. The Captain was diving, hitting, talking and most important leading by example. Great match Leisa
