Greta Gjeasvig

How far would you go.

Remember that old phrase "How far would you go for a Camel?" Well this week's player of the week Greta showed how far she would go to shag a foul ball. Forget over the river and through the woods. How about over the fence, across the street, fighting traffic at rush hour to get the foul ball she went. She was gone so long some of the players were sending text home to their babysitters to let them know they would be late. The ump updated his Facebook status, and several players grabbed a quick nap.

Greta came back to cheers from both teams. Now you would think that after that excursion, one would be tired. Well, maybe the average person, but not Greta. She chased down a pop fly the very next play and helped lead her team to victory.

Greta, thanks for the help, and thanks for being an Underdog!

The Eggulators

Its rare that someone who doesn't play and isn't old enough to remember Clinton wins the Player of the Week, but this week was this boys time to shine. I am sure that he plays kickball in his elementary school on a regular basis because there was noone better at cheering on his dad and his dad's team. From running on to the field during the sixth inning to high-fiving after the game there was no better sport even if he didn't play
