Late Fall Co-ed Midcore Volleyball at Fernwood Tuesdays

The midcore one championships were the talk of the town Tuesday night. With a cheering section and all, the Thunder Bumpers and IgoNoUgo, the defending champions squared off for the top spot Tuesday night. Both teams had first round wins last week to put them here. IgoNoUgo defeted the Kamikazies and Thunder Bumpers eliminated E! True Volleyball Story is a tough game.

The late fall league went out with a bang during this game. It was back and forth the whole match. Thunder took an early lead but IgoNoUgo wasn’t going to let them get away too fast and they fought back after a strategic timeout. But the Thunder Bumpers kicked it into gear and pulled away at the end of game 1 for a 25-21 lead. Game two was just as fast and IgoNoUgo, who have been in the big game before came out swinging. With a few quick ones they found themselves in the lead, but only for a short while because the Thunder Bumpers were here to make a name for themselves and they did just that. With a few big hits up from Thunder took the lead and didn’t look back. They became the Tuesday Night champions after a 25-20 win in game two. These two great teams didn’t want to end the night so they played their third game to keep the night going. Great group of people and an awesome Underdog Championship. Way to go Thunder Bumpers, see you next season!
