Nina Bakos of Amazeballz claims our POTW for her heroic efforts in the semifinal and final games of the Tubman Tuesday Night Championships. Nina's serving in the semifinals vs. Indy Team #47 was fantastic and she kept racking up the points for Amazeballz throughout all three sets. Her composure and strategic awareness on the floor was a catalyst for her team's success. But Nina isn't getting POTW for her performance alone - it's also for the grit and fortitude she displayed in the finals vs. The E! True Hollywood Story. Nina rolled her ankle in the last set of the semifinals and there was concern among her team whether she could continue in the finals. After applying an ice pack and borrowing a brace, Nina soldiered on and never missed an athletic beat as she again delivered a solid and impressive performance. Although Amazeballz lost the finals, the effort and dedication wasn't lost on us, because Nina (and the rest of her team) made a definite impression. Congratulations Nina - take care of that ankle!!
