Jeremy Newton

RIP CITY, WA

This weeks player of the week for the Men's League is Jeremy from Rip City, WA. Jeremy had a double header this week and was without a doubt the most energetic defender on the field for both games.

Whether he was rushing the passer, or making diving flag pulls, Jeremy's effort was contagious to his teammates and they played with great spirit.

Jeremy had numerous pass break ups and caused many QB scrabbles that ended up causing havoc for the opposing team.

Jeremy's play this week earned him the player of the week. Thanks for your efforts out there on the field today Jeremy.

Mike Souder

Mike came to play!!!

Most leagues throughout various levels of play and in most games these days you have your offensive players and your defensive players. In Underdog leagues you tend to have more hardcore players that go both ways.

Mike Souder took this to a whole new level yesterday during the 1st hours Men's League game between Doc Dynasty and Rip City. The game was a forfeit, but Rip City had a few players go over to Doc Dynasty to keep the game alive. Mike Souder stepped up and volunteered to be the games "all time center"

That means every single snap of the ball came from Mike. Pass route after pass route, Mike ran all over the field. In fact Mike even accounted for a few completely crazy diving catches in the end zone and on the field.

That's why Mike gets the nod for this weeks player of the week at Lewis and Clark. Way to go Mike, way to represent lineman everywhere and way to show the relentless hustle and the Underdog Spirit!
