First Place

Winter Gentlemen's Flag Football at Lewis and Clark Sunday

The championship match for our winter 2015 league was spoiled by the sunshine and blue sky all afternoon. The unusual playing conditions did not put a damper on the spirits of A.A. and Cromratie's Kids as they went toe to toe. It was a high scoring affair for both teams with A.A. tossing upwards of ten touchdowns to claim the title. they showed why they were the number one seed by making unbelievable catches time and again both offense and defense. Congratulations Alcoholics Anonymous on yet another championship!

Shawn Beiber

Pure Speed

We witnessed not one, not two, but three sonic booms during the Men's League yesterday.

Shawn took the ball on three short passes throughout the game and hit the after burners, weaving in and out of the defense for three epic runs that resulted in TDs.

Seeing the wake of bodies sprawled out on the turf from defenders trying to capture the flag from the blur that ran buy was entertaining enough, but what was most enjoyable was watching the runs that weaved across the field in a manner that left most observers in awe.

A no doubt unanimous pick for player of the game by his team, Shawn earned player of the week honors for his brilliant performance.

A Triple Threat!!!

Josh is this weeks Men's player of the week.

Josh pretty much did it all on Sunday. He was a defensive ball hawk who was quick to not only break up passes, but snatch an INT.

On Offense, Josh caught some deep passes and even stepped in as QB on a few plays.

Josh's play was fun to watch throughout the day and was a unanimous decision for his teammates on player of the game.

Great Job Josh and congrats on being Underdog's player of the week.

Justin

Alcoholics Anonymous

In a great match-up on Field 1 at Lewis & Clark on Sunday, Justin of team AA flipped his feared patented offensive skills to the defensive side of the ball, letting SundayFunday know early an often that it was going to take a mighty effort to knock the AA boys from the unbeaten ranks of the men's division.
Interceptions are great and usually get you on the highlight film, but it was Justin's amazing quick closing speed that led to many incomplete passes by a talented SundayFunday quarterback. His flag pulling was also at another level this afternoon, leading a defense that brought it all game long and secured their place atop the men’s division with a hard fought 40-23 win.
