Tracy came out to play this week. She made several great catches while playing in the outfield and had a very solid day at the plate. Her hussle on the base path got her across the plate to score 3 runs. Tracy's was a defensive stalwart while playing a tough right field . She made several fly ball outs and was there to back up any play in the infield.
Ali was the true ball player this week. She has been battling an injury all season but she went out and played with all her effort on Sunday. Her hard play in the outfield was an inspiration to the Underdog way of playing. All out and having fun doing it. Due to nagging injury she was moved to catcher where she made a spectacular catch and tag to end the inning and end a scoring threat in a tight game. At the plate she hussled out grounders and was an opportunistic baserunner that helped her team. I'm sure her injury will not slow her down and we will see another great effort next Sunday.
