Brennan showed one of the best plays I've seen of sportsmanship, he smacked a ball way over all of the outfielders that was a homer no doubt! But as he was rounding third he was behind one of his players and called them back to third before he went past because she had missed the base, even though no one had seen it. With that happening she had to go back, touch third, then head home and he ended up having to stay at third rather than completing the home run. Great teammate and sportsman for calling his own teammate on the miss of third. I love seeing stuff like this and can't wait to see Brennan back out on the field again, nice work!!
Brennan joined us this week and he surely didn't disappoint.. Stepping up to the plate, he provided the dirt with his patented double tap. And even though he stands on the wrong side of the plate (silly lefties), he never succumbed to the pressure of the fans calling for big, big hits. His first at bat was a bomb to right that cleared the bases for his first homer of the day. In his second at bat, the defense put on the super shift, placing all of their outfielders right of center field. Cleverly swinging his stick, Brennan blasted one to center and again cleared the bases for his second HR of the game.
Brennan is one cool cucumber. Can't wait to see what he has in store next week.
At first glance, it looked as though Ray might be out there to cheer on his kid playing in the league. But don't let the grey hairs confuse you, Ray came to play!
Hustling the entire game, encouraging his teammates, and having a great time, Ray was a shining star tonight. He held that pitching mound down and made some killer snags doing so. Now if only he can get that first pitch down... Ray, do that and you'll be unstoppable.
