If you were drinking as much as the Turkey was last night you may have missed one of the better bowling nights this league has ever seen. Who rolls a 191 and a 190 in the same night? Tony, that's who. If you don't know Team Kingpin yet, you may want to send the team scouts over next week. As a team they rolled over a 1200 on the night, by far the highest of any team. And Tony, with his 11 strikes on the night, is this week's POTW. Congrats Tony!

Despite a rocky start (if you call a beer-soaked jacket rocky that is...) Teresa managed to up her score from 130 to 156 in a tight, tight game that had only a few pins separating 68 and a Smile from the XXX Club. Not one to cry over spilled beer and/or having a teammate named Colonel Lingus, Theresa truly earned her POTW honor this week by upping her game when the game needed upping.

Like one of your favorite cartoons when you were a kid, XXX Club's handmade wristbands and "contrabandannas" separately are just stylish accessories, but when combined they create a force much larger than the sum of their parts. Beware Big Turkey Bowlers; there is a new crew at Hollywood. And just like any of those Thunder Cats, Power Rangers, or Transformers - this team has a leader too. Her name is Carolyn. She fights for good scores, steady beer consumption, and of course Rocking out with your Turkey out! And she is this week's POTW! Congrats Carolyn.

For the record - The Big Turkey may do a little drinking from time to time, a beer here, a pitcher of beer there. All weird experiences up to this point could be categorized as "got a little drunk, danced on the bar," or whatever. But, what happened last night can only be described as, the closest thing to doing hallucinogenic drugs that this turkey ever wants to experience.

Is it just me or did I see all of the following: A guy bowling with a sheep, the prom king gettin his swirve on, a gang of inbred hicks, a wedding party, and a friggin Luau!

And that brings me to the POTW, Anthony or Richard Simmons. Please tell me that his black curly white guy afro, or the too short shorts were not just another case of the Turkey getting drunk and thinking its time to sweat to a little oldies. Thanks for getting the party started Anthony, may the pictures not come back to haunt you.

Princess Kitty and the Hairballs
Let me take a second to recount all my prior experience with hairballs. There is of course fluffy the cat, and her adorable little hacking cough. Then there are the hardwood floor - impossible to sweep up hairballs. There are shower hairballs... and ... well you get the point.

Until now hairballs were basically a pain in my ass, but you add in a Princess and the all the hairballs form a wonderful team. See where I'm going with this? We all thought that by missing the first week of bowling this team was going, well, down the drain. But low and behold, Steve has them right in the hunt. His clutch 180 last night sealed up 4th place in the standings.

So here is to the Princess and her main hairball Steve. Best of luck in the playoffs.

Ok ok, we get it - Kingpin is the best bowling team ever. What many of you don't know is that they were actually bowling with 7 instead of 6 for at least the latter 1/2 of the season. It's true. Ha! You knew something was up didn't you? No I am not Ashton, and no you are not being punked.

Wait wait wait, before you cry foul there is one more thing. That 7th person. The guy I like to call "Little Kingpin", never actually rolled a ball.

I can see you all now saying, WTF man!

Casey has been bowling while pregnant for the last few weeks of the season. Yep, she even rolled a 180 to help her team in the championship. If that is not dedication to the team, I don't know what is. Poor little guy's first words are either going to be Drink Ticket, or Big Turkey though. Lets just hope its not Suc-it! or Larry.

Thanks for kicking ass Casey, we hope the best for you and the Little Turkey.
