The Big Turkey thinks he got more than he bargained for Week 1 of the newly minted Fall Thursday league. Here are a few of the highlights.

1. In case you missed it we were giving away free t-shirts. We all know at least one certain folicly-endowed gentleman was so excited he decided to turn lane 44 into a dressing room.

2. No less than 6 Vodka Sobes were consumed and left bowlers wondeing if it was them or they alley that was jittery.

3. About 40 people ventured to the bar after bowling to continue the "friendly" discourse on which team have the best odd on winning this season.

4. Indy #1 aka "Up Yer' Alley" had the best team score of the night behind a 203 and 192 from Brian and Jay in their second game.

Cheers all - let's hope week 2 gets even nuttier.

Jimmy Chitwood
Jimmy Chitwood needed all 192 of Ginger's points in the first game to eek out a 547 to 547 tie. The Big Turkey did drink a bit last night, but as he recalls, Ginger had something like 900 spares and strikes in a row. We have to check the record books, but I'm pretty sure this is a new record. Guess that's just how Ginger rolls.

What can you say besides Brian being the best player on the best team in all of Underdog land? This kid throws 205's like the Blazers throw airballs. That would be often. Heck, he doesn't stop at 205 his score in the first game was well beyond... so far beyond we'll just call it 'sick' how good he is.
