Summer Co-ed Sunday Afternoon Kickball at Unthank Park

This week had several potential candidates for Player of the Week, but this time the little piece of the internet we save for someone special goes to Scott. Down to their last out in their last at-bat and down a run, the Thundercats were desperate. Scott, dressed up in the colors and face paint of the Oregon State Beavers (who were playing during the game and won the College World Series later that night) charged toward home. The ball wasn't kicked far enough to make it easy, but Scott managed to dodge the throw with a dramatic head-first dive into home to make it a tie game. Although the umpire had to clean off the plate afterward, he appreciated the effort and dramatic flair.

Guilty as Charged gets player (s) of the week this week for not only being able to continue after a wild start but by finishing up with a triple play!

In the last week of the regular season, the Player of the Week goes to Ira Nelson. She displayed exemplary fielding in the Balls of Teal's win over Mr. Team. Congrats to Ira, and good luck in the playoffs!
