Winter Co-Ed Westside Big Turkey Bowling Thursdays at Valley Lanes 7pm
Everyone showed up with their A-games for Thursday night's championship matches. Hutch led his Chosen Ones well, but not even his seven strikes could prevail as Thrust forged ahead to take the game. Meanwhile, Indy #2 matched their ninja skills against the Cesar E. Chavez Boulevarders. Another hard-fought game, but the quiet determination that Indy #2 has shown all season proved worthwhile, as they moved to the championship game.
The race for the Championship was neck and neck- Maverick and Goose (aka Lillian and Chris) were up to their usual tricks, leading their team in scoring. But all the smooth flying and finesse that they demonstrated just couldn't knock down high-flying Thrust. Amazing games by Lacie and Kraz helped the team push ahead, winning the game 525 to 502.
A big congrats to all teams for great games and a really fun season. Look forward to playing with you again!
