POTW: Caleb Enk
The Black McNalls
Caleb Enk was on base all day, every hit; that is until his last unfortunate out. On a run towards first Caleb was facing a Playground Rockstar who already had the ball. The Rockstar fired a LOW slow motion shot towards Caleb. The entire incident replays in my mind similiar to the Zapruder Film. We wanted to look away, but we couldn't help ourselves. Caleb took that ball flipped over the base summersault fashion in a heap of dust. When the dust settled Caleb was out. It was painful, but nothing a little ice and some Mississippi Pizza wouldn't fix. Get well soon Caleb; you get to do it again next week!

POTW: Katy York
Clockwork Orange
Katy has been the best example of competitiveness and having fun, that I have seen while at Underdog. She plays with a tenacity and jocularity that defines what Underdog is about. Her pitching was solid (as was her play off the mound), and if you couple that with her few valiant at-kicks (nicely executed bunts), you have the best player I saw this week.

POTW: Jake Mackie
The Black McNalls
Where there was a play to be made or basekick to be found, there was Jake Mackie. He was an inspiration to his team and to the thousands around the country watching. He played like a man possessed. He will likely be demanding a huge salary in the offseason, as it is a contract year for this 5 tool player.

POTW: Corey Gray
Kicmaballs
Absolutely dominant pitching. His overwhelming presence on the mound lead to easy victory for his battlemates. It's almost as if he takes away the ability for other teams to bunt- or score runs for that matter. Preponderant, just preponderant.

POTW: Wendy Thacher
Playground Rockstars
Wendy brought an unparalled ferociousness to Unthank on Thursday. She was on her mark from the opening game of Roshambo until the her team had won a well fought game 4-3. She turned a myriad of amazing double plays from her spot at First and while maintaining the fun on the Rockstar bench.
Ian made it look easy today in the mud and rain drenched field. His hustle and ability to use his skillful slides to an advantage earns him the player of the week honors. A head first slide into third followed by an amazing feet first slide at the plate helped his team earn the victory.
