Late Fall Softcore Volleyball at Friendly House Thursdays

Opening Night Thursday Softcore at Friendly House saw some great action all night, but especially when Volley Parton's John Cox stepped on the court. With only 4 players to cover the hardwood, John took charge and did his duty to make sure the Parton family stayed competitive and energetic by displaying some wicked moves and dives. John and his teammates worked in perfect 4-mation to dig, assist, spike and power serve their way to a 2-1 game match vs. Setsy and We Know It. John had fancy, floor sprawling saves to make for exciting action and inspired his teammates to push for those wins. Great way to start the season Volley Parton and John Cox!

Every week team Perfect Strangers plays great games. Kyle Peters played especially well last night :) His passes were well placed. Kyle had awesome serves and spikes! His good plays were very controlled and smooth. He had excellent blocks and quick reactions. Amazing job Kyle!!

Sarah McElroy played three great games :) She has quite the arm on her and had some nice hits! Also Sarah had an awesome back row attack that caught the other team by surprise! It was a fun match to watch :) Great job Sarah!!

Alex Lemke is player of the week because he is such a well rounded player :) He had a great run of serves and his spikes are great too! Alex always has a positive happy attitude and is fun to watch play volleyball :) Awesome job Alex!!
