Thursday nights are always full of big plays at East Portland Community Center but this last Thursday was cholk-full of powerhouse kills and tremendous saves. Both Meeeoooow and Bumpin' Uglies stepped up their play and brought their A-game tonight. However, Meeeooow prevailed thanks to Chris's seemingly unending height and killer blocks. Angela also found the outside seam and was taking them down like a stiff drink on a Friday night and led hear team to the win for the first match. The Bumpin' Uglies found their stride in the second match as Autumn pressed down some threatening serves and Greg got in some stylin' swings at the net. Meeeeoow came back with a vengeance and took the final point thanks to Alyssa's shifty tip. So, congrats to both teams and way to go Meeeeoooow!
