When I noticed that Dan had brought his own ball, I reminded him that our league was pretty laid back and that he should try to enjoy himself regardless of the scores. Dan told me that he wasn't worried about the scores, he was just there to have fun. Now this ended up being true, especially if your idea of fun is bleeding me dry of prize coupons. During his 7th frame, his teammates and observers had gathered around to cheer him on to his 7th straight strike. Way to hustle the supervisor, Dan.

Sarie is the captain of not one, but two BTB teams. This much responsibility leaves little time for focus on things like say... bowling. But Sarie showed some pretty huge cojones on wednesday night. She donned her ridiculously huge dollar-store sunglasses and rolled a 178 in the first game, all while expertly coaching up both of her teams. And when she saw that the second game was easily in hand, she threw a crappy game just to make the Brutal Bowlers feel better about the final score. At the end of the night, they all got together for a final "Mmmmmmm.. Beer!", dedicated to Sarie.
Obviously not Golfers knew coming into week 3 that the task ahead of them would not be an easy one. The Little Lebowski Underachievers have handled their opponents up to this point without mercy, and Wednesday night was no different. John Miller kept his team focused and spirits high throughout the night. John Miller has been elected Player of the Week!
It's no secret that the Brutal Bowlers have been going through a little rough patch this season. Yet while their misfortune has kept them at the bottom of the standings, it has by no means kept them out of contention for another Big Turkey title. The Brutal Bowlers flexed their muscles wednesday night, outscoring their opponents by 400 pins over two games, and even notching their first ever Team Turkey! Dave capped the night off by knocking over a pin with pure psychological intimidation!
