Fall Grass Co-ed Flag Football at Powell Park Sundays

Superman, Batman & Aquaman gave all their superhero powers to Ryan Chapman from team Go Deeper today. He took the field ready to play creating a new record of 14 touchdowns in a single game.
Even his own team doesn't know how that happened since the final score was only 27-20. Apparently he also inherited The Riddler's crazy riddles.
Of all the days to have a great game, this being his birthday was the way to start the day.
Congratulations to the birthday boy Ryan Chapman, this week's player of the week.

Julie Erickson must have been a receiver's/secondary coach in the NFL because she had a monster game displaying her skills as she lead her team to a 10 point victory.
On their 1st drive Safely Blitzed was knocking on the door ready to score. As a pass was thrown, out of nowhere Julie makes a grab, dragging both feet in bounds as she falls out. What an amazing grab! She taught that move to Jerry Rice.
Later in the game while on defense, she decided to make a break for a ball and grabbed an interception from the opposing team to nearly return it to the house.
Julie Erickson had a huge game receiving 2 touchdowns, 1 interception and a few key stops. All in a days work at Underdog Sports league. Congratulations to the Player of the Week.

Tony Paris does...and with pride. Week in and week out or even when the scoreboard doesn't look so good for the Flying Elbow Drop Team, Tony tries to keep the fun going. Sporting a foam old-school leatherhead helmet and rockin' the tiniest pair of shorts in the park Tony keeps rallying the troops and making sure his squad is always enjoying themselves.
In his second season with Underdog, when asked if was enjoying the league our Player of the Week said, "I love it, why do you think I wear tights?"
Good point Tony, keep doing your thang.

Most Underdog players wake up, go to work and come home to play on Sundays, but not Brian. Brian had a very exciting week planning a wedding. Not only did he plan and get married this week, he also got the green light to play from his newly wed wife to play in the championship game on Sunday at Powell Park.
When he stepped on the field to play, he had red in his eyes and then his wife told him to play nice. The red turned to blue, but he had his fingers crossed and when it came time to play, he took over like an 18 wheeler on the road and was unstoppable. He quickly became the quarterback, Josh's favorite target as he dashed into the end zone a couple of times.
A great day, a better week for Brain and the Roustabouts as they won the championship. This week we give the player of the week award to Brian Sauvola and a big Thank You Award to his newly wife for letting him out. Congratulations to the newly weds!
