It may have been week one but The Bumpin Uglies put the league on notice with their play. A fun team with tons of skill the "Uglies" were able to battle tough and beat a tough dodgeball team that is playing volleyball. Great communication, hustle and great passing let the "Uglies" run off multiple points in a row, making it hard for their opponent to make a comeback.

The Never Nudes were always in the right spot. It took maximum effort to beat a scrappy Return of the Indy team.

Supreme communication, hustle and key kills allowed The Nudes to come out on top. It was a great display on a great night of volleyball.

The Sets Win With Five.
In the best match-up of the night Safe Sets were able to come from behind in game one, then hold on in game three to win a tightly contested match. Doing it all with five players.

The match was loaded with long rallies and great net play. Each of the three matches determined by only a few points. It was a fun match to watch and surely a fun match to play.

Did that just happen?
"I'm gonna blame it on the underwear tonight."
Those were the famous words popularized by Heather Hayden from The Return of the Indy. Heather not only showed up and made people smile with her quirky comments, but she also was talking up a positive world wind storm to her team as they took the court on Sunday evening.
Heather showed up in green and white high knee socks to serve as a distraction to the other players. During a play, she was at the net, and the ball was on the opponents side as she hit the ball threw her own side of the net. Everyone stood with a baffled look on their faces as to think "Did that just happen?"
Unfortunately, the high knee socks didn't work this week but her attitude and great comments easily won her the Player of the Week award as she said "Whats with these creepers.....that's shady!"

In one word Megan Pierce was riDiculous! She was all over the court telling her own players to set her up.
Her team nominated her to be the player of the game because ......"She was a scary, scary animal."
Once the match was over and the full moon subsided, she returned to her normal human form and went up to the team giving them high fives and smiles.
If it weren't for her breakthrough performance on the court Sunday night, her secret would still be safe. But because she turned into "The Animal" she is now compromised. But nonetheless, she gets the coveted Player of the Week award, Congratulations.

Snorts Galore
Snorts, snorts and more snorts! A-Team Violators, Kendle Deaderick had ton's of fun playing and laughing up a storm. Anyone can easily notice this because of her unique laughter and snorts.
Kendle was having enough fun for everyone there. In one occasion, players from the other court came over to find out what was going on. As they spread the curtain that separates the two courts, they found Kendle on the ground laughing so hard it contagiously spread to her team.
Her team had fun, but she took it to another level as she lead the team in good times. She even broke her own record of most snorts per minute with 5. Congratulations to Kendle Deaderick for being awesome as she gets the Player of the Week award!

Don't hate the smile
This week's player of the week goes to Samantha Clemans from the Safe Sets. Every week she has a smile on her face and ready to play some volleyball. She is not the loudest person in the gym, but her presence is known on the court by her beautiful sets. She sets so well that people stop their game to see what is how she does it.
Aside from her beautiful sets, she shows you her smile right before she serves aces. The ball spins and then dives and you look up and see Samantha smile to where you can't get mad at her.
Unfortunately, her team lost in the championship game, but she is the 1st one to run up to the other team to congratulate them as she shows off her great sportsmanship. For staying positive and her great assets, Samantha Clemans gets the Player of the Week award. Congratulations.
