Spring Midcore Co-Ed Kickball at Unthank Park Sundays

From the first pitch to the last out Stella players were cheering, chanting and supporting not only themselves but also supporting the other team as well.

They came together late in the game to get a well deserved tie!

Great team spirit, great for the league and great for Underdog!

How Stella got her Humpback is exactly what underdog kickball is about! This team had SPIRIT! They started the game cheering and dancing around. They continued to cheer as the game went along even when they were not winning. They even cheered on the other team! They may not have come out victorious but they had a blast at the ball field. Great job Stella!

As an umpire we expect to get hit by players and even the ball sometimes, but that is during the game. While I, the umpire, was walking to do the pre-game talk Billy McKee told himself, "I think it will be a great idea to kick this ball as hard a possible into the back of the umpires head because I am a kickball juggernaut!" The ball hit so hard I, the umpire, almost bit thru my tongue.

So once the game started he understood it wasn't the smartest thing to do during the pre-game so what does Billy do? Just kicks back to back triples to help his team to victory!

Billy, don't worry I will get you my pretty! And your little dog too!

In the first game for the day for RBnV, Brittan wasn't going home without laying it all out on the line, plus she didn't want to be punished by not eating dinner according to boyfriend.

So once Brittany got on base she advanced to 3rd base in no time and she decided to try to beat a throw to home and doing so she need to lay as flat on the ground as possible while sliding into home. Now sliding really doesn't often get a POW award but that fact that she slid in running tights on the rocky ground and sacraficing her body for the team.
