First kickball game of the season but also the first game ever for the Mud Slingers. Having worked together before, they know and support one another with positivity.
Caryn was playing SS and making several catches while looking into the sun! Adding a couple nice kicks/bunts she was getting on base too. Nice hustle, teamwork and fan support! Keep it up Mud Slingers.
Dumbledore's magic may not have been working but good thing they had Verenice on their team. Going into the 7th they were down by a lead that may seem impossible to over come well that didn't stop this team. In the 7th Verenice steps up to the plate, boots a ball toward right and was able to get a two run RBI, Go Verenice. I tell you what this team sure does have the Underdog spirit.
Army or not Emy is hustling, workin and celebrating. Leading off the game with a kick and positive energy Emy wasn’t the only one ready as all Dumbledore’s were firing and cheering.
Putting up points and definitely having fun the army was making the most of the night. Win lose or draw Emy was dancing and enjoying it regardless. Nice game!
Cooler night of kickball, but it was still filled with some hot plays. Nice catches, throws and kicks were made by those Pitches! Sara was getting it done too, even if here head wasn’t completely in the game it was it?
Either way she was having fun and making plays, ending the game with a nice catch in LF. Nice playing, carry the confidence over and go for it!
Another good week seeing Dumbledore’s Army. They came out swinging and got up early. Verenice, up by more than 9, got lots of reps kicking away.
Dumbledore maintained an upbeat and positive atmosphere. Both teams had a great time. And Verenice’s positive attitude was a major contributing factor.
Verenice’s joy was contagious and culminated with thanking the refs as her team collected the bar coupon and headed out.
When in doubt i know who to Call. With her team in a tight spot, in the 3rd the game was tied, 2 outs and a runner on 2nd. Colleen steps to the plate and lays a whommper of a kick and sends the ball on a one way flight outta Oregon. A 2 run HR!!
Kimberly was a vacuum this week and caught absolutely everything this week. Crushing it in all phases of the game, she is was and remains to be a force to be reckoned with.
