Brett came in with the most effortless blocks, I mean he was just there like it was nothing and wouldn’t let anything get past him! He floated through the air for his fake outs that had the other team guessing who was gonna get the set and set his team up for success by going on runs with his serves! It was pretty impressive! Keep bringing the heat! Congrats on being our player of the week Brett!

Gary was outstanding both on and off the court tonight! Not only did he encourage team communication and add to the fun atmosphere, but Gary was a solid force with his consistency serving, digging, and spiking. Off the court, Gary proved to be a real star. He stuck around for the entire game following his own in order to help advise on the rules of volleyball to some new players and keep score. He cheered on players from teams that weren't even on his court or during his hour of play. Gary helped make the night enjoyable for not just his team, but Kiss My Ace and Spiked Punch. Great job Gary!

Angel's hustle tonight was crazy! She was diving all over to pop up balls and her ball placement on the floor was smart and strategic. Angel also had such a great spirit tonight, hyping her team up and making it a fun evening for everyone playing and watching. Kiss My Ace is an Indy team that met just a week ago and is quickly forming a positive team vibe. Angel has proven to be a leader on the court in bringing her team together and helping establish good chemistry and communication. We are excited to watch this Indy team grow and improve- shout out to Angle for being such a stellar art of the squad!

Ashley brought her A-Game tonight! She is definitely a team leader on the floor- making an effort to communicate constantly and provide positive energy when needed. It is fun to watch how intentional Ashley is with her ball placement, always finding the hole on the court. Ashley also was killer tonight with her serves, spike, and digs. Too Legit always has a blast on the court, and Ashley is no exception. Bonus! She brought her little baby with her to cheer on the team! Nice work Ashley!

Oh my goodness! Within the first 2 mins of the game I'm pretty sure Joseph had his hands on the ball blocking or tipping it back over 20 times. It was awesome! You could tell that from the minute the first ball was served Joseph was seriously ready to play! You would never know what position he was suppose to be playing because one second he was back left and the next he was front right just waiting and ready to cover whatever his teammates needed! Still not sure how he covered that much court in such a short amount of time! If Jospeh is on the court you can be sure you're going to see some awesome effort and plays no matter what! Congrats on being our player of the week!

Did somebody call an excavator because we got a digger on the court yall! Talk about preventing those attacks and spikes from touching the ground! Kim showed great speed and determination when returning those fast flying serves. Throughout the game she was sounding off with words of encouragement and acknowledgement to her fellow teammates accomplishments and efforts. And when it came down to the nitty gritty she was there to support and set a fellow teammate in need. Way to go A(ce) team and keep up that great spirit Kim!

It was IMPOSSIBLE to pick just ONE player this week! Bump Life was on a whole other level this week! A lot of teams excel at different things but they have it all! Their communication is incredible. I mean they have multiple players going for the ball and call each other off of the ball so that the person in the better position can make the play and they make it look sooo dang effortless! They have beautiful sets and clean digs. Not to mention their defense at the net and swings crosscourt! They were also battling another awesome team and they had to take the game all the way to a tight 27 points. They are truly a high energy team that takes their game and their fun seriously. Congrats on being the team of the week Bump Life! Keep it up!

The pressure is on. This is not just another Monday night. This is semifinals. Whoever takes this win plays on. Nicole made sure to do all she could to help her team take that win and oh my goodness!! Her setting is unbeatable but what really caught my attention was her gorgeous back sets that fell exactly where they needed to every. single. time! No matter where she was on the court her back sets were placed so perfectly! It was incredible! Especially in such a competitive game when you need to put the ball away to get the point, a good set is key! Awesome job Nicole! Congrats on being the player of the week!

What a season for Wayne! Winning the second place title in Midcore 2, Wayne and his team showed an incredible effort in their back to back games tonight. I'm always impressed by Wayne's leadership and passion on the court, providing guidance and encouragement to his teammates. Wayne is also such a smart volleyball player, always placing the ball in just the right spot and setting his teammates up for success.
