Menace to Sobriety
Malia was all over the place Sunday afternoon leading her team to victories in thier double header. She played an all around great game, supplying pin point kicks for a potent Menance offense - as well as playing lock down defense. Great Job Malia!

Nelson Kee endures the heat to earn player of the week!
Nelson Kee endures the heat to earn player of the week!
9866-Kick
In the middle of what felt like the hottest day of the year so far, spirits and team morale were beginning to take a turn for the worst as the heat scorched everything in its path. However, when the heat was at its highest, Nelson was there for his team to provide support, encouragement, and most importantly, a friendly face. The sun wore down heavy upon 9866-Kick, but Nelson never let it take his cool. Nelson displayed some of the most important traits that we value here at Underdog, and for that, we name him player of the week.

Glazed Donuts
Jonathon Kuntz was a solid member of Glazed Donuts, fielding throws at 1st and catching fly balls like a maniac. His true moment of glory came late in the game when he defended his team's narrow lead by catching a pop fly and surprising the runner on the tag for a double play to end the inning. Great job!

Kristi Warren comes through with kicks and smiles!
Menace to Sobriety
Kristi Warren is a treat of a kickball player not just for her team but also the entire Luke Jensen league. She treats every player that comes her way with a smile, and doesn't let it get her down when her kicks don't go her way. Kristi had a key moment in her game today at the top of the 7th inning, kicking a key bunt in that created a bases-loaded situation for the heavy hitter on her team. Each kick previously Kristi would come up to the plate with a smile and leave it with a smile, even when the result was an out. On her final attempt it was no different; Kristi came to the plate with a smile, and had the same smile when she ran through home a kick later. Great job Kristi!

We Got the Runs
Chase arrived today for his match adorned with spirit, sportsmanship, and a classic Flint Tropics jersey (and matching short shorts!). He brought style and class to his team and the day which in itself is a great feat and deserves much praise. But Chase wasn't compensating for a lack of skill by his abundance of flair, making a spectacular catch from the ground to snag a pop fly and secure an out. Great job Chase!

Menace to Sobriety
Ryan and his team made it to the Championship game here at Luke Jensen, much in part due to Ryan's awesome pitching throughout this and other games this season. Menace to Sobriety had a spectacular record in the regular season, and Ryan was there every week to help usher his team to the finals. Great job Ryan!
