Kendall came out with a ton of energy. She was all over the field chasing keeping the OB in check while on defense. She had an amazing sack to help her team to their first win of the season.

No flash in the pan for Greg Oden's Knees
A couple of seasons ago Greg Oden's Knees, exploded onto the USL Flag Football scene. Unlike the actual knees of Greg Oden and the man himself, and the team saw some relative success in spite of the fact that most newbie Flag Football teams experience quite a learning curve when they start playing this sport. In only a few short seasons this squad has appeared to really start coming into their own and on the verge of falling in the ranks among some of the league's better teams...and they also seem to have a lot of fun doing it. In fact, Greg Oden's Knees were smiles and jokes ever since they came into the league.
There's no rule against having a sound game plan and a positive attitude and the Knees definitely showed they possess both as they routed the RIOT squad 47-24.
So Congrats to the entire Greg Oden's Knees team, OUR SUNDAY CO-ED FLAG FOOTBALL TEAM OF THE WEEK!

99 Problems but a Blitz Ain't One (Indy #1)
99 Problems didn’t have any problems when it game time rolled around. This independent team has quickly jelled into a cohesive unit poised to make a run in this league. 99 Problems but a blitz ain’t one showed in the first game that they came ready to play this week. Their offense marched up and down the field after a slow start in the first half to finish the game with a 35 to 14 win over RIOT. 99 Problems second game of the day was a real barn burner. This game came down to the wire. With 99 problems down 19 to 24 their offense took over and looked like a well-oiled machine executing play after play. They scored the game winner with only several seconds on the clock to take the lead 26 to 24 and never looked back.

Congratulations to “99 Problems but a Blitz Ain’t One” for executing on offense and going 2 and 0 on the day.

If you havin' girl problems I feel bad for you son...well you can fill in the rest. Pravin Mallavaram must have just listened to that song before he stepped out onto the gridiron to play Greg Oden's Knees because the man played with a swagger only HOV could emulate.
In an intense game where the score was never a touchdown apart and which also came down to the finals minutes, Pravin was a threat that couldn't be ignored. Teammate Trayvon Cooks and Pravin make up a speedy combination that require a lot of attention. Not to mention, both players have the height to make the jump ball a no-contest in their favor.
While 99 Problems came up short in this one, Pravin and his squad walked off the field nothing but smiles because they was nothing to be ashamed of in that game.
So Congrats to Pravin Mallavaram our UNDERDOG SUNDAY CO-ED LEAGUE FLAG FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK!

The Reply to All team has been on a terror this season and there's been no indication that this bullet train has any intention of slowing as it roars on down the tracks. It's no secret Reply to All has a strong roster but with players like Lauren Phillips who can rip it up both sides of the ball and who never comes off the field, it's taken their game to a whole knew level.
Phillips has put in her time and season after season proves she can hang with best in the league. She says her favorite football player is Mike Vick but she plays defense like Ray Lewis (if Ray were to play in a co-ed, non-contact flag football league) and is as sure-handed as Moss in the endzone.
So Congrats to Lauren, OUR SUNDAY CO-ED UNDERDOG FLAG FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK!

Underdog Football
Sunday in the fall means football, but for team I Touchdown There it means Underdog football and that equals fun!
I Touchdown There comes out to have a good time tossing the pig skin around the field and with each other. They bring their great attitude and sportsmanship on the field. When they advance the ball a dance party breaks out on the field as they dance their way up to the line of scrimmage. When they score a touchdown, the doves are released and confetti falls from the sky as they celebrate putting points on the board.
This happens every Sunday through out the entire game. It is no wonder they go to the Sponsor Bar for a much needed drink. This Sunday they had their double header and despite falling both games, they still know how to have a good time and that is why I Touchdown There gets this weeks Team of the Week Award. Congratulations!

Well Deserved
It was a well deserved celebration in the mud for Safely Blitzed. Mother nature came out hard on Sunday and a game was still played. No other team enjoyed the Rain Bowl more than Safely Blitzed.
All year long, Safely Blitzed showed their character on the field by cheering on their own teammates and showing their class with their opponents.
Safely Blitzed has been together longer than an Umpa-Lumpa can walk, and it shows because of their great chemistry. Not only that, but they are the 1st to give credit were it is due. As a team, they will pick you up when you are down and even give advice to the young teams.
Their style of play is conservative, but very effective. But what makes them true Underdoggers is that they have fun and they show it every week. For this, we give them the Team of the Week Award. Congratulations
