Fall Co-Ed Softcore Kickball at King School Park Sundays

Mike Robinson and his team Swift Kick in the Grass came pumped for their game against Pill Crushers. Dressed for the Sunday in their football jerseys for opening day of the NFL season, Mike Robinson was quite a sport both off and on the field. Cheering for his team's great plays, cheering for great plays the other team made, making great plays himself... Mike did it all in a nail-biting 5 - 4 victory, including kicking the game winning ball in the bottom of the 7th inning! Great job this week Mike, keep up the spirit and the kicks.

Andy probably had the most fun out of anyone on the field. He showed great team spirit and attitude as well as some cool socks. Andy joked and laughed with his team even if calls didn't go their way and kept up morale with humor.

In the forfeited game Ball & Oates decided to allow some AAA pitching prospects some innings to show their stuff. In the 4th inning Loren got her chance and did one of the best catches that has ever been seen.

As she pitched the ball she was leaning to the right and the kicker drove the ball back at the pitching mound but to the left side. So Loren just reaches out and grabs the ball with her left arm for a cradling catch that not only shocked everyone on both team but she was amazed too.

If I were Ball & Oates I would give that gals some more innings! Great play!!!

King schools final day of playoffs, had a few upsets but full of fun. Alcoballics started it out with Kick in a Box. Runs were scored early, 8-8 by the 3rd inning and 13-11 at the end, with Alcoballics advancing. Taking on Swift kick in the Grass (league winners) to get to the finals. Again runs were scored early, but this time they fell short to the new champs 11-5.
Jen was doing her thing through booth games, pitching 2 complete games and making an awesome unassisted double play from the mound to 1st. Hustling on defense and around the bases all while having fun.
