Team of the Week is actually ALL the teams from Sunday night: Holy Rollers, Friendsmash!, Breaking the Lanes, Jesus Strikes Superstars, Bad News Bowlers and Huevos Grandes--for their patience and great attitudes as there was no room at the inn for us, until we found some lanes and started our night, 20 minutes late. Mad props to the players of Breaking the Lanes (a name inspired by their experience on Lane 33) and Jesus Strikes Superstars who had many, many opportunities to sit back and enjoy some bowling juice while mechanics worked on Lane 33. In the end it all worked out and here's to an uneventful (but theme-filled!) next week! Rock on Sunday bowlers!

Bad News Bowlers TOTALLY gets Team of the Week--and not for only their sweet, sweet harmonizing and caroling down the lanes (O, Tannenbaum in German? Coming right up!) and their festively decorated table (mini-tree with LIGHTS!) but for gifting each team a little present of home baked cookies! Way to get into the season, Bad News Bowlers! You definitely made Sunday feel festive....and the cookies were delicious!

TOTW goes to Friendsmash for their enthusiastic love of tater tots! Jeannette was first to get her triple X and enjoy the vegetables of her labor--TOTS! Somewhere there exists photographic evidence of certain members of Friendsmash! and their love of tots, but I will remain mum on that location. Here's hoping for more tot-y goodness next week guys! Way to go!

Bad News Bears bring spirit; Friendsmash smashes No Tap
You can bowl if you want to...you can leave your friends behind..no one was left behind Sunday night as teams took to the lanes for a totally rad championship night. Huevos Grande beat Jesus Strikes Superstars to advance to the final round against Holy Rollers. Dueling Money's rolled and alas, only one could be crowned Sunday Night Champs (along with the rest of the team) and that was Huevos Grande! Holy Rollers graciously took second place and Jesus Strikes Superstars came in third.
From delicious baked goods, to outrageously themed outfits, Bad News Bowlers were a shoo-in for Spirit Champs! Way to keep your eye on the prize guys!
Friendsmashed smashed the No Taps--earning in the double digits. Way to go guys!
