A new season, a new team and new highlights!
Team Army of Darkness came out to play some football, Underdog style on Sunday. They had no idea what to expect, they just expected to have fun.
Army of Darkness lost the game but not before they put up some numbers on the scoreboard. Their 1st touchdown as Underdoggers the receiver went out on a post route and the QB chucked the ball with all his might. There was no way the receiver was going to get with the ball especially with 2 defenders on him.
Little did anyone know that, he has some speed! He reached out his right arm and the ball seemed to have magnetic powers to him as the ball fell into his outreached hand and he jogged the 10 yards into the end zone. A celebration ensued and victory dances came out as the team got wild.
Army of Darkness lost the game, but they had fun playing Underdog style. For the great game and great spirit, they get the Team of the Week Award. Congratulations!

Vicious & Delicious player Laurel hyphenates her name because she is known for smiles and good times. Off the field she is known as Laurel Staton, but when she sets foot on the field to play football, she is known as Laurel Staton-Smith.
She plays with fun and passion to have a good time. Even though Matt is the captain and Adam is the boisterous one, everyone knows that Laurel runs the show and is the fun police on the field.
Her passion for having a good time carries on through out the rest of her team and opponents as they enjoy throwing the pig skin around.
Flag football is about good times with people and Laurel Staton-Smith takes that to a new level, which is why we give her the Player of the Week Award. Congratulations Laurel, keep rockin!
