Spring Softcore/Midcore Co-Ed Sand Volleyball at WoksUp Thursdays

Indy 42 officially changed their name on Thursday to Indy 42.....Like a Racecar. But it looks like that wasn't the only thing that changed. On Thursday their final player showed up to keep in interesting.
Julie Webster came out to play in her 1st Underdog game.....ever. She showed up fully prepared like a boyscout bringing her recyclable red cup with her that looked like an ordinary dixie cup. You can easily say she was thirsty!
After her 1st game, she made the comment ...."I am better than my friends." as she shanked the ball out of bounds.
Whether that is true or not, she had a great time dancing in between games, refilling her empty cup and playing in the sand all while having a giant smile on her face. This made her the front runner for the Player of the Week Award. Congratulations and continue the good times!

This week we have discovered a true volleyball warrior. With the inclement weather conditions of thunderous rain down pour and cold climate, Crystal Estes emerges as a Volleyball Junkie.
Crystal came out to fill the team with no expectations of sun and only the guarantee of having a good time. She did have a great time smiling and running around in the hard sand while rain fell on her from the skies. Just to add another obstacle for her to climb, her big toe nail got peeled back in the middle of the 1st game....Ouch!
This didn't phase her as she was determined to continue with the smiles and good times. Her team didn't win, but she achieved her goal in having a good time and successfully cementing her status as a true Volleyball Warrior. For that, we give her the Player of the Week Award. Congratulations for playing and having a good time!

Playing tough the first match serving, digging and hustling, Ryan helped his team take all three in the match. Carrying it over to the next match filling in for I'd Hit That. And he did. Nice matches. Time to eat.
