Its always hard to be dropped into a competitive situation. This week The Dissapointments dove headfirst into the craziness that is dodgeball. One can have lots of questions when balls are hurtling towards your body at supersonic speeds. It takes a great and intuitive player to take the time to ask the ref how to do things properly. Jessica Lown had no problem asking for directions this week as her team entered the court for the first time. Pay attention to this girl down the road because the ones that ask questions in the first week are always dishing out the answers by the time playoffs roll around. Congratulations to Jessica, our player of the week!

Not only do they have a cheer that makes you want to chuckle, but the Money Shots aim to please! This team is made up of friends that "....Just want to have fun".
Well fun is what they have when they get out onto the courts and throw those dodgeballs. Led by their fearless leader, David Miller, the Money Shots are all about the good times.

Excellent Nucleus
Its all about good times and laughter for Make it Rain. They step on the court and shower the dodgeball courts with ones as they make it rain from the great times they have enjoyed at Underdog Dodgeball.
They are led by their fearless leader Bryce Hutchinson who is not afraid to dive on in front of a ball to take one for the team as he pretends he is in a hollywood movie as the lead stunt man.
Team Make it Rain has an excellent nucleus in their other players. When they need someone to take over, they rely on their closer Amy Bunker, who is not afraid to catch a 95mph fast ball and then throw it back at you. Katie and Josh like to team up to distract you as Josh does Matrix style dodges while Katie precisely guns down the opponents with her monstrous cannon.
Clare and Shawna like to play the nice girl role and make you feel bad when you hit them. They will not forget you for that and you are as good as out the next game. K.C. likes to play dodgeball and was recruited for his smile because he is "The Charmer" of the team.
However you put it, Bryce did a good job in putting this team together as they all have fun....Underdog Style. Congratulations to team Make it Rain as the Team of the Week!

Hall of Fame
Win or lose she says she is having fun with a smile. She helps out new comers to the league in understanding the rules whether they are on her team or playing against her. She helps out to fill on the other team when her own team is playing against them. She is one of the most honest players ever known to Dodgeball. If all that isn't enough, she has a strong resume to be inducted into the Underdog Hall of Fame. Who are we talking about? The one, the only Liz Lewis from Ham.
Liz is one of those players that makes you want to go out there and throw the ball around because it will be fun. Standing on the sideline and watching her play makes you feel the itch to play. When she gets hit and calls herself out, she just inspires you to play with respect for the game and the people.
Team Ham has its fearless leader and got really lucky in finding her because Liz is one of a kind that has respect and enjoys the game. Because of that, she gets the Player of the Week Award. Congratulations!

Rafael from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles made an appearance on Wednesday's Dodgeball game. He was represented by Justin Nichols from team Ham.
Before Justin stepped on the court, he pulled up his green socks that displayed the pizza loving, green ninja turtle. Even though Justin didn't whip out his sai weapon, he sure did play like Rafael would have.
Justin was dodging everything that came at him and getting people out like no one's business. He set a new record of having fun, measuring 131% on the Fun-O-Meter. Take a bow Justin because he receives the Player of the Week Award, Congratulations!
