Summer Co-ed Grass Volleyball at Lillis Albina Park Thursdays

This week there was no way to pick just one person who topped it all. If you were there to witness the Shaggin Balls vs. In the Grass game. It came down to the very close game three. In the Grass got the best of a tired Shaggin Balls, as this was game two of their double header week. But they fought back to take game two. With both games resulting in a 21-19 win for each team the 3rd game was not going to disappoint, The sun had gone behind the trees for a n even playing field. The first 10 points went back and forth with no one team having more than a 2 point lead. Shaggin Balls made some great plays that turned into kills. But with In the Grass' Melissa stuffing the tall Brad, they took the serve back. They inched closer until the score was 20-14 in favor of Shaggin Balls. The next 3 points went on for a while with the eventual kill by Brad to win it for Shaggin Balls. Great match by both teams. They all came to play on a great night at Lillis Albina.
