This week's Player of the Week is actually a Team of the Week--Pin Pals of Powell for their AMAZING show of circus-ry and over the (big) top fun! They really brought it this week--the bearded lady, strong woman, ringmaster, hobo clown! What a crew! Not to mention the ambience that was created by adding little touches like animal crackers and other props. Way to entertain the league and bring the fun! Brutal Bowlers Topple #1 Shark Attack Mtn!
Pin Pals of Powell Perfectly Perky! (Spirit Champs)
It was an exciting night at Powell Pro! #4 Brutal Bowlers took on #1 Shark Attack Mtn in the semi-finals. A turkey in the tenth put them over the top and over Shark Attack Mtn to move them into the championship game. Shit Show and Rainbows rallied over Huevos Grande to advance to the semi-finals against Brutal Bowlers.
It was a close game for Brutal Bowlers and Shit Show, but Richard, Gillian, Barry, Lara, Shaye and Sapper were no match for Sarah, Eli, Mel, Adam, Megan and Dave and Brutal Bowlers were crowned Wednesday Night Powell Pro Champs!
Pin Pals of Powell proudly took Spirit Champs--and deservedly so! Every week they brought the Spirit--and the props--from ringmasters to Elf on the Shelf to dancing raisins. Way to go Pin Pals!
